The search for a woman that’s been missing since September of 2016 has led police to two dead bodies—neither of which are the one they’re looking for.
Jessica Runions went missing after leaving a party on September 8th in Kansas City, MO. According to witnesses, the 21-year-old was accompanied by Kylr Yust. The pair left together in her SUV.
The vehicle was later found 5 miles away from Yust’s grandfather’s home. It had been set on fire. Investigators took samples of the remnants.

Yust was eventually charged with setting Runion’s Chevy Equinox ablaze. No direct evidence has yet linked him to Runion’s disappearance.
Yust has a history of violence.
He was picked up by police while in the company of another woman who had previously filed her own restraining order against Yust. That woman was pregnant when he assaulted her. He was also charged with killing her three kittens. She dropped the charges against him—even after he murdered the animals in front of her.
According to that police report, Yust stated “I’ve killed people before, even ex-girlfriends out of sheer jealousy." He was still able to go free. So far, no proof has been found to link him to either woman’s disappearance.
He was also indicted in 2011 for stealing tattoo equipment from the parlor he worked at and sentenced to 4 years in jail back in 2013 for drug trafficking.
Protect your loved ones from repeat offenders with good phone tracking software.
So how does someone with Yust’s criminal history keep getting away with it? One can only wonder. People like Yust make a strong case for parents to put a mobile stealth app on a loved one’s cell phone.
Many moms and dads are choosing to monitor who their kids are with by installing cell phone surveillance software programs on their devices. You should too. Quality smartphone monitoring software gives you access to every text, SMS message, photo, video, email, social media activity, and GPS location. It's a really smart way to keep an eye on your child when they are not around.
